#Communism seems like a good idea until you realise it requires an autocratic vanguard.

Likewise #Anarchism seems like a good idea until you discover communal factions which necessitate a social contract.

In between is #SocialDemocracy. That also seems like a good idea until you find out that half of the public are hypnotised by the propaganda of special interests.

Good arguments made from each side. The left care more about public interest, but that is also why we squirm more over policy.

Full on #corporate #capitalism with little to no safeguards eventually ends up on the far right of the political divide into unashamed #oligarchic #fascism and #tyranny.

We have #Reagan-Thatcher sponsored #ChicagoSchool of #Economics’ made to order theory of #neoliberalism to thank for it. As well as weak democratic (not to say corrupt) govts, who probably saw the excesses of the economic system but chose not to do a damned thing about it due to the benefits they derived.

I’m afraid it will take more than an #election-eviction of right-wing govts to set us back on the #SocialDemocracy path. #War is coming my friend unless someone very powerful pulls a rabbit out of a hat, and soon.

I’m normally a very optimistic guy, but I cannot ignore the obvious.
