Big fan of good to mediocre science fiction. One of my 80s favorites was the #canadian series #otherworld. I was 13 when it came out so I was in the perfect age group to appreciate it even if it was cheesy. The Praetor Kroll character (villain) was played by #JonathanBanks who is better known for being in Better Call Saul these days. But, I just rewatched #Airplane! (1980) tonight after having watched #ZeroHour! (1958) Last week since Airplane! is lightly based on Zero Hour!. Who do I see?...

Labour MPs ordered to sink landmark climate and environment bill.

Are we outraged, yes. Are we surprised?

Clive Lewis, the Norwich South MP, told the Guardian he would vote for the bill come what may: “I’m hoping the government and the climate and nature bill sponsors can come to an agreement this will be good for Labour at a time when many people feel like we are backtracking on our climate and nature commitments."
