Well...
That experiment failed 
Aero decided to exit through a fence into next door. That produced some minor injuries 
Aaaaand because Aero went, Beau decided he was off as well but through a different fence. 
Spot, who is very wise in the way of the fence, decided to stay so he could supervise repairs.
I swear Abner must have been a supermodel in a past life. Just look at that #hair!
Spot just had his world turned upside down. He lost his mare and got a couple of senior ranked geldings.
There was a lot push and shove while positions in the herd were decided.
Baby Buzz moved in with big brother Ash today.
And there was much rejoicing.

We had visitors today and they brought a horse along.
When they left, they forgot the golden rule.
Leave gates as you found them.
Needless to say, Buzz enjoyed their brain fade immensely.
A quick word in Spot's ear as dinner is served.
Changes coming for those two. Barbie will come out and a couple of geldings will go in.

It’s funny to me how Henry and Abner are both technically chestnut, yet their coat colors can look very different. If I hadn’t done a bunch of reading about #Haflinger #horses when I adopted Abner, I would call him a #palomino.
Henry’s guide to getting #cuddles in 3 easy steps: 1. Lower head and make solicitous face at a likely-looking human. 2. Walk slowly into the edge of human’s personal space bubble so as not to frighten them off. 3. Position head in convenient location to receive #ChinSkritchies.
If human is chosen well, human will then provide many chin skritchies and tolerate being affectionately shoved into a hay pile.
