I was watching the #maxheadroom (1987) episode Lessons (S02E07) about Network 28 raiding and closing down a school for using pirated educational broadcasts and there is a (abridged) quote from Max that really struck me
"You can fool some of the people all of the time and you can fool all of the people some of the time
I say, if you don't teach 'em to read, you can fool 'em whenever you like"
I was thinking, wow, this is literally Amerika right now
In the last week I've been mostly watching:

- Completed watching Count Duckula
- Almost finished binge watching Max Headroom (1987)
#Channel4 used to let one view much more from their archives. Over the years I have periodically viewed "Max Headroom: 20 Minuutes Into The Future" (1985). This time I had to search the web. Post-apocalyptic #cyberpunk set in the world of deadly #TVratings. Love it. #MattFrewer went on to reprise the role of #MaxHeadroom in the #TVseries "The Max Headroom Show" (1985-7). Memories...

This doesn't look _terrible_ as far as AI upscaling goes; it's a lot more subtle than some, while still giving some visual benefit. But I'd like to run this on some test footage. See what it's like in motion.
If only there was a 24 hour stream of #MaxHeadroom episodes, specials, and extras. And maybe some other bits and bobs.

Today is the 35th anniversary of the #MaxHeadroom signal broadcast intrusion.
1st incident lasted 25s during the sportscast on the 9PM news on #WGN-TV; The 2nd, 2hrs later, lasted ~90s on #PBS affiliate #WTTW during #DoctorWho.
