Without doubt, #ads integrated into a #TV operating system are seriously annoying, but I’m still grappling with the concept of ‘idle TV’. Why does one not turn off their TV when leaving the room or when not watching something on it?

Ars Technica · Cheap TVs’ incessant advertising reaches troubling new lowsBy Scharon Harding

"In sports news, #Republicans #sold #Taiwan to Communist #China for a 3rd round draft pick, and some unannounced #bribes to be paid later"

Because this is how things go these days.

It's not even #news.

It's just #Entertainment.

Some videos of smart #bombs, ships, buildings blowing up, and then non-stop #ads for #ChickFilA, #WalMart and some drugs for #acne and #gas that have #fatal side effects.

Good times people. Enjoy while you can.

Hashtags on the house

I updated #Android, and as usual lately, there are new system Apps that serve no purpose. But this time, I ended up with an app called 'Live lock screen' (to deliver #spam #ads) that collects my data like my ID and other info. It is developed by Taboola, an Israeli company, and I can’t uninstall it (I have to use ADB to do so). Given what’s been happening, I have zero trust in a company like this, especially their underhanded methods to auto-install themselves. Frankly, it really annoys me!🤬
