It works out-of-the-box, and just works as well. But, as usual, YMMV. There are certain rig combinations that might require a few tweaks here and there. But, on my end with an acer TravelMate 2020 laptop, I was able to play (before the graphics update, which my laptop doesn't have), , , , , , , and other games I like.

If you have the latest rig setup, you should be able to play most games available via Steam, unless they require some anti-cheat software (like ), which is a known issue for such games (some have workarounds, but for UWO, there's no known workaround).

And if you play games from older OS'es like DOS and Win98, it's easier to set up in Pop!_OS Linux. For example, , , and the classic TSR AD&D games, to mention a few.
