There are actually a lot of #games that runs better on #Linux ( #PopOS in particular) than on #Windows _even if_ through #WINE.
Ones I tested: #GuildWars #GuildWars2 #WorldOfWarcraft #RunesOfMagic #StarTrekOnline #Neverwinter #AQ3D etc.
I found a useful #API -based tool to help cleanup our #GuildWars2 inventories:

I used to work for #L2SEA as a content officer, which included #webdevelopment and community forums administration (backend, frontend, managed the community team) Oh, that included the #GuildWars (#GW) 1 Philippine community forums and website.
It was a blast working with the company, with #NCsoft Korea our partner and game developer, my managers and my team, and all the players I've met both online and offline events.

@PaseoBaggage If you don't want Windows 10, and having second thoughts with Windows 11, I recommend #PopOS #Linux.
It works out-of-the-box, and #Steam just works as well. But, as usual, YMMV. There are certain rig combinations that might require a few tweaks here and there. But, on my end with an acer TravelMate 2020 laptop, I was able to play #StarTrekOnline (before the graphics update, which my laptop doesn't have), #Neverwinter, #XCOM2, #GuildWars, #GuildWars2, #Wesnoth, #OpenTTD, and other games I like.
If you have the latest rig setup, you should be able to play most games available via Steam, unless they require some anti-cheat software (like #UnchartedWatersOnline), which is a known issue for such games (some have workarounds, but for UWO, there's no known workaround).
And if you play games from older OS'es like DOS and Win98, it's easier to set up in Pop!_OS Linux. For example, #Ultima, #Populous, and the classic TSR AD&D games, to mention a few.
