The 1:1 Davy Crockett model is done and will be test printed shortly. I like to keep my models as cheap as possible, usually resulting is slim profit margins. But this one will cost $40 just to print, and probably $40 in shipping. So the whole kit will probably need to be like, $150 - $170. I hate setting high prices. Especially for something that's more or less just a shell. But I'll also print it in black to make it more finished at least.

When #Nuke on #Linux wants some RAM, Linux is like „here you are, FAFO!“. And eventually your PC grinds to a halt because Linux is too busy swapping and has no power left to kill the greedy process. But when you prevent „overcommitting“ of RAM which means Nuke can be denied a memory allocation, you’ll get an immediate segfault because it doesn’t expect that case (Nuke is a 4000€ per annum software by the way…). And then the X session gets killed as well because it too wanted some bytes of RAM.
