@Shrigglepuss Unfortunately I can't commit, but it would help if you could list sizes and models and tag with #crt #crtgaming #retro and #retrogaming. You're likely to get hits that way.
I agree - would be good to find homes for them!

I bought the requisite switchbox about 13 years ago, and finally today found and ordered a clean looking SM124 paper-white monochrome CRT monitor for the Atari 520ST, from eBay. (Shipping in original box with original foam, so it seems possible it will survive the trip across the U.S.) (Knock on wood)
It looks like there's JUST enough room atop this A520 STation to fit them both, if I move the HxX2001 into one of the (disconnected) drives' spots in the stand.
I had both an SC1224 and an SM124 on my original 520ST setup back in 1987.
Will post some pics when it's all setup.
They got a tiara for their CRT.

Anyone remember pressing their nose to a CRT television and seeing the RGB grille?
Had a dream I was looking at my cellphone. I eventually scrolled to an image that had sort of a CRT grille effect filter, except...
It looked odd, so I instinctively pressed my nose against the cellphone screen.
Whomever had made the image had hidden extra visual information within the image. It felt like one of those magic eye images but on steroids.
I took a photo of some movie that was on TV about 10 years ago, seeing what looks like an Acorn computer of some sort on the desk, and this is what I got. I'm not really sure what's going on here and I'm equally unsure if I want to know.
Whee there it is! Been hunting for this vintage analog video switch IC for quite some time. The composite inputs of my 37” multisync CRT, a Mitsubishi XC-3715, about to get repaired!
If you’re not into videogames, esp. anything retro, this CRT is like peak wet dream for any of that. Besides the 15kHz analog video stuff, the screen can also handle 800*600 VGA

Came across this 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘶𝘭 collection I had to share.
'MrJackio' has a full set up for their analog visual arts studio - and it is a #RetroBattlestation paradise.
All are used for specific projects that require different #design and #art styles. I love that the closet is stuffed full of #CRT displays and camcorders, too. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 is dedication to a design principle and aesthetic!
Honestly gives me strong #CassetteFuturism vibes.
My fav? That an #Amiga computer can still have use!

TV anachronisms: The opening titles to the TV show Tokyo Vice have a CRT (that is, an old computer display) with damage to the screen, that looks like a damaged LCD. Which is not what a damaged CRT looks like. (A CRT simply goes dark whe the vacuum is gone.)
@murdoc @ricardoharvin like loitering, standing in the street is illegal. My Norwegian mind cannot comprehend.
Except, wait: 3 strikes and that's 20 years? Oh hello, #CRT!! IT'S YOU AGAIN! Back into line!
The whole US system of revenge (or as #Americans call it: "justice") is a blood lusting, vengeful affair, that costs #American society billions every decade.
The "wE MuSt pUnIsH bAd GuYs CuS wE gOoD gUyS" is that typical yankie brain rot that makes me understand why you hate cops and jail.
@murdoc @ricardoharvin jail in the US makes things worse. Reformist prison systems like in Norway gives people time and a place to heal.
I guess this is the portion where we go to politics and say yes, #CRT is real (a socio-economic and political theory regarding the US "justice" system), in that interstate policing was meant to catch freemen and send them to chain gangs in privatized prisons to re-inslave them.
That doesn't mean policing and prisons are always bad, except for in the US.
#drake isn't down with Drake today which tells you how bad it is to be drake. But he's pumped about my new album "all Labyrinth & NO MINOTAUR" coming out this wednesday on @triplicate ! I am so psyched! Folks have loved this when I played it for them which always surprises. Some say it's one fo my best yet. Also surprising. But i do hope you check it out! Only on Bandcamp!!! #crtmusik #crt #cathoderaytube #triplicate #newmusic #musicproduction #newrelease
This same CRT had already underwent surgery on the previous weekend.
It's normally connected to my Mega Drive — which is still PAL (50Hz) and hence didn't trigger any jitter — and the RGB input was very dark.
Other RGB sources with different cables were dark as well. Turns out it was pulling the input signal way down towards ground. Replacing the 82Ω pull-down resistors in the R/G/B lines (while still keeping things under 1V peak-to-peak) did the trick.
#AMERICA IS DEAD, LONG LIVE AMERICA It starts from the top ... the rot that is. #Gop Head Shot the #USA for the #colorblind #CRT Commies! https://old.bitchute.com/video/U8nnJk6k6C4e/
I find it amusing that, in an interplanetary spacecraft from 2032, one of the display screens—the one used to display the commander's video logs—is a #Trinitron #CRT.
#StarTrek is usually more diligent about concealing primitive display technology behind Okudagrams. Did they really think CRTs would still be in common use in 2032? Plasma displays and LCDs were already a thing in 1999 when the episode aired.
If my insurance agent could see the shit I get up to in my home, I don't think he'd be quite so nice to me.
But hey! Project complete! We got the giant 36" Trinitron in the loft, and with only one new scratch and one smashed finger. Everything is still sort of pulled apart but you can get a general idea of the layout. His and hers PCs and TVs on either end, with the CRT and retro consoles in the center (less strain on the controller cables and makes split screen co-op easier).
Well... Not quite complete. I still have to reattach the tinted panels, rework all the power/AV cables, install all the consoles, disassemble and remove the hoist, put the couch back, and clean.
But this was the hard part!
