"Republicans" in Congress wanted to give military aid to Israel with no strings attached. No strings attached. Uh huh. We'll give you all the offensive weapons you want and use 'em against Gazans any way you see fit. Have we figured out yet how protest votes or no votes, tipping the election to favor "Republicans," is going to help the people of Gaza? I, for one, don't get it.

Choosing top news stories and writing headlines are among the more curious arts. The Google News Top Story right now - the most important thing going on in the known universe - is Donald Trump returning to the scene of one of the assassination attempts with Elon Musk in tow. Not much has actually happened to this point. Meanwhile, in Michigan, Kamala Harris met with angry Arab-Americans. To my way of thinking, that is a huge news story and it is about things that actually have happened. So, I just ran text searches of Google News's current post on arab, gaza, kamala, michigan, muslim, and variants on the name, Palestine/Palestinians. Nothing. No hits at all. The one hit on the name, Harris, was a fact check of the conspiracy theory that Biden-HARRIS spending on migrants drained FEMA resources for hurricane relief. Guess we'd better get to the bottom of that and the heck with Gaza.

A big distinction is to be made between supporting Israel's right to defend itself, on one hand, and supporting Netanyahu, on the other. The United States must not support Israel at any cost. Kamala Harris may want to leave it to us to call Benjamin Netanyahu the war criminal that he is, but she must make it clear he will not get a blank check from her administration. "Republicans," such as the unscrupulous Mike Johnson, are willing to give Netanyahu that blank check. Harris must not.

There's no telling about the media; but I mentioned damage done by Biden's support for Netanyahu's atrocities in Gaza, in the paragraph at the middle of the attachment. To me, the attachment states an overwhelming case against Biden staying in the race. The numbers - the information we have - run very heavily against his chances. President Biden should withdraw without killing any further time. He is doing his party and our nation a very great disservice by stalling.
