"Thursday After Thunder" teableau for 03/27/25
There was a wild storm last night- momentous lightning, ground-shaking thunder, hard rain- that caught houses on fire & blew out windows. Yet today, it's as if nothing at all occurred, just sedate calm all around. Storms be that way.

Despite the score, and all respect to Italy, but that was possibly the worst performance from the Red Roses I've seen in the last five years.
Very ragged and error-strewn from England. A little worrying for them in their World Cup year.

Whilst I appreciate getting the Red Roses on the road, this stadium in York isn't great at this level, the atmosphere is pretty dead, there are loads of empty seats and the camera angles are so low on TV, it feels like I'm crouching on the sidelines.
Miles away from 50,000+ at Twickers last year.
That said, England themselves haven't changed: they're two tries up after six minutes...
