We have been quietly following the developments since the #Israelis violated the November 2024 #ceasefire. They claim that #Hezbollah fired a rocket from Southern Lebanon. Hezbollah is known to us for being quiet when the Israelis come with claims. That has changed recently when Hezbollah denied it was behind the rocket attack. Again, such a reaction by the group is very rare. So, their denial is more credible than the #Israeli tradition of making claims while providing no #evidence.

We may never find out how US #attorney Jessica Aber died, her cause of death still being unclear. Like the best #Columbo or #crime novel, she had so many enemies that it is difficult to work out which had the most pressing motive and the means to carry out a murder. Aber resigned shortly after #Trump's reelection, having investigated violent mobs, a corrupt governor, #Russians, industrial spies and #Israelis. All options look highly alarming to the rest of us living.
