Tonight's movie is my all-time favorite movie: Murder By Death (1976)
It's a fantastic murder-mystery comedy written by Neil Simon. Five famous literary detective characters and their sidekicks are invited to a bizarre mansion for "dinner and a murder." And the host thinks they won't be able to solve it.
So many great actors!
Peter Falk - Sam Diamond (Sam Spade)
Peter Sellers - Sidney Wang (Charlie Chan)
David Niven & Maggie Smith as Dick & Dora Charleston (Nick & Nora Charles)
Elsa Lanchester - Miss Marbles (Miss Marples)
James Coco - Milo Perrier (Poirot)
Truman Capote - Lionel Twain (the host)
Alec Guinness - the blind butler
and more
Directed by Robert Moore
Music by Dave Grusin
It's not streaming for free anywhere, but you can rent it various places or by it on Amazon for $10.
